Each Caffitaly capsule contains 8 grams of coffee blend—the ideal amount of roasted and ground coffee for a true Italian espresso. During the pre-infusion phase, it is evenly moistened (thanks to the support of the upper filter), preparing it for optimal extraction which is ensured by the back pressure created by the lower filter.

In addition, the capsule is designed to hold any type of coffee, from classic espresso to long espresso, right through to American coffee. Thanks to this feature and the recognition system in the machines, each capsule is associated with an ideal brewing mode for every blend of coffee and other hot drinks.
